Introduction:

Evil Entity has a very funny and almost scary introduction on their website that you should just read. They're one of the few militant Linux distros out there.

UPDATE:Considering there has yet to be any activity on the EvilEntity site for over a year now I'm calling this a dead distro. It was amusing while it lasted.

Install:

I'd like to say for the record that I've never been able to get this distribution past the install stage. For some reason once I go through the cute and pretty hilarious install screens and set up all my network options and username, I reboot and nothing happens. The website says that this is an issue that has been addressed, but when I did what they told me to do, I still couldn't get the thing to boot. From what I've read it's a really cool distribution, if I could ever get it to work.

Package Selection:

As I've said in the previous paragraph, I have no earthly idea how this distro performs once it's installed, but the install doesn't let you pick any of the packages it installs. It does however give you lots of reassurances that what it's installing is worthwhile (i.e. "Installing multimedia packages so you can edit those UFO home movies to withstand the closest scrutiny")

Most Annoying Feature:

Did I mention that I've NEVER been able to get this distribution to boot after the install process?

Who's it best for?

From what I read of the propaganda on their website, these guys are hardcore with the Windoze hatred. If you like how perty this website and others looks in Micro$oft Internet Exploiter, stay far, far away from this distribution. They even state, (with much sadistic relish) that EvilEntity will purposefully destroy any Windoze partitions it comes in contact with on your hard drive, so dual-booters be wary.
